How to target visitors by Order History (Shopify)

With Personizely, you can target the visitors that have a specific buying history on your website. Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to configure targeting by order history.

From your dashboard, get to the Widgets tab and choose the one you would like to edit. Hit the “Edit” button, situated on the right side of the screen, right across the widget name:

Edit Widget

Choose the “Display Options” tab:

Display Options

In the “Rules” category, click the “Add a Rule” button and choose the “Target” Option from the drop-down menu:

Add a Target

Here you can choose whether you would like to include, or exclude a certain target group from seeing your widget:

Show/Don't Show

Click on “Create Target”. Write the target name and click the “Create” button:

Press “Add a filter” button from the dropdown menu, and choose the “Order History” option:

Add a Filter

Introduce the details of the target group. Here you have several options to regulate it by the order history. You can include those who have made more, less or an exact number of purchases in the past, or those containing a specific item. You can also add several groups and use the and/or button to use all, or one of them. (It is also possible to add several filters to the same target category or remove any of them by pressing the bin button on the right side of the Filter):

Hit the “Save” button on the top right corner, and then “Close”:

Don’t Forget to Save

You can change the target by adding or deleting the groups underneath the drop-down menu, and when you are ready, hit the “Save” button at the top right of the page:
