How to A/B test widgets in Personizely

The instructions below describe the process for setting up an A/B test.

On the widgets page, click on the pencil button to edit the widget:



Select the AB Test icon in the sidebar panel:



Apply the modifications you want to test to your variation (for example, change button style):



Set the percentage of traffic you want to attribute to each variation:



You can add additional variations by clicking "Add" button:



Click save and you will be set to test:



Note: You can also set up A/B testing for triggers.

Go to the "Display options" tab:



Select variation and select trigger for that:



Once the A/B test has completed, click on your widget in the "Widgets" tab:
