How to integrate Wix email automation with Personizely?

This tutorial will walk you through the setup of an effective integration between Wix Email Automation and Personizely. The main aim is to enhance your lead generation by automatically adding new contacts and assigning labels through a personalized list-building widget on your website.

1. Log in to your Wix admin panel, navigate to Customers & Leads > Contacts, then click on More Actions (the three dots icon) in the top-right corner and select Labels from the dropdown menu.

2. In the Labels section, click on Add Label, name the new label Personizely, and then save your changes.

3. In the Wix Admin Panel, select Automations, click on New Automation in the top-right corner, and then choose Start from Scratch.

4. In the automation setup, select Contacts, choose Label added to contact, and specify the label Personizely that you created earlier. Then, complete the automation setup according to your needs.

5. In your Personizely dashboard, navigate to Widgets and create a new List-Building widget if you don't already have one. We recommend using the List-Building pre-built template for a quick and easy setup.

6. Within your List-Building widget, edit the Form or Subscribe element. In the right sidebar menu, select the Interaction tab and click on Add action to create a new automation.

7. In the new window, select Wix as the platform for the action. On the right side, click the Refresh integration button to update the integration and recognise the newly created label ("Personizely"). Once refreshed, choose the action type Add Contact.

8. To assign the label to the new contact, click Add again in the Automations section. In the pop-up window that appears, select Wix as the platform, choose Add Label to Contact as the action type, and then select the label you created earlier("Personizely").

9. After you've finished setting up the automations and personalizing your pop-up, click on Save. Then, change the widget's status from Draft to Start to make it active on your website.
