Connect Personizely with Postscript
Follow the steps below to create your integration with Postscript.
From your Personizely Dashboard, go to the “Settings” tab:
On the next screen, select the "Integrations" tab:
In the Integrations tab, find Postscript and click "Connect":
Here you are prompted to enter the API Key, which you need to get from your Postscript account:
In your Postscript Dashboard, find “My Store”, and go to the API tab:
Create a new API key by clicking “Create Security Key Pair” at the top right side of the page:
Confirm Key Generation:
Once the key is generated, you can add a label for it so you keep track of your integrations. Click the “Show” button under the Private Key tab:
Copy the Key:
Go back to Personizely, introduce the API key and click “Connect”:
Congratulations, you've now set up your Postscript sync! Now you can set the connection between your widget and Postscript.
It is advised to create a 2-step popup, with one of the steps containing your phone subscription field, and the other one dedicated to the email address.
In the "Widgets" tab, choose the widget and click on the blue pencil to edit it:
Note: It’s important to include the following TCPA-approved compliance language when collecting subscribers via SMS messages:
“I agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (e.g. cart reminders) at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition to purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel. View our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.”
Go to the step containing your phone number subscription, click the blue pencil to edit the form:
Paste into the “Caption” graph the TCPA-approved compliance language:
Add an automated action, make the necessary selections and click “Add”:
Click "OK" and don't forget to save your changes:
Congratulations, you're done!
