Connect Personizely with HubSpot
Follow the steps below to integrate your list building widget with HubSpot.
From your Personizely Dashboard, navigate to Settings > Integrations, where you'll see the list of available integrations. Locate Hubspot and click the Connect button on the right.:
On the new page, select the account that you want to connect and click “Connect Account”:
Confirm that you want to link your accounts and click “Connect App” to give Personizely access to the required information:
Congratulations, now your two accounts are connected, and you can sync your contacts between them. To do that, you just need to go through a couple more steps.
From your Personizely Dashboard, go to the Widgets tab, find the Widget you would like to edit and click the pencil button:
Add a subscription form, or if there is one already click the blue pencil button that shows up when you hover over it:
Click the “Add action” button placed under the Automation category in the Interaction tab, and make the respective choices in the new window:
Save your changes and you are done!
In order for Personizely to identify your HubSpot subscribers and sync the custom fields assigned to their profile, a connection needs to be established between them and Personizely.
A query parameter must be added to any outbound links in your outbound emails directed to your website.
You will need to attach the following query parameter to the end of the link: ?hs_cid={{ contact.hs_object_id }}
To do that, go to your HubSpot dashboard, click on Marketing and choose the "Email" option from the drop-down menu:
Choose the email you would like to use and click the Edit button:
Choose the element to which you want to attach the query:
Adding this to the end of a link will populate the URL with subscriber’s ID when an email is sent.
Now when a subscriber clicks on the link in your email, Personizely will be able to identify the visitor, map him to the subscriber in your HubSpot list and sync its data.
