Connect Personizely with ConvertKit

Follow the steps below to integrate your list building widget with ConvertKit.

From your Personizely Dashboard, navigate to Settings > Integrations, where you'll see the list of available integrations. Locate ConverKit and click the Connect button on the right:

You will then be prompted to enter your API Key associated with ConvertKit:

To obtain your API Key login to your ConvertKit account.

After logging into your ConvertKit account click on the dropdown arrow on the upper right corner of your account screen and select "Settings":

In the "Account Info" tab, locate "Developer " in order to see your API Key and API Secret. To view the API Secret, click the ‘Show’ link:

Once you've obtained your ConvertKit API Keys, enter it into the prompt in Personizely and then press the "Connect" button:

Note: Now you need to select a tag to segment your new subscribers.

In the "Widgets" tab, choose the widget you want to connect to ConvertKit, and click on the pencil to edit it:

If there is already a subscription form present, click on the pencil to edit:

Add an automated action:

Select a tag, to segment your new subscribers and then press the "Save" button:

Congratulations, you've now set up your ConvertKit sync!

Identifying visitors



In order for Personizely to identify your ConvertKit subscriber and evaluate the lists and tags assigned to their profile, a connection needs to be established between him and Personizely.

To recognize someone clicking from your email as a subscriber, you will need to turn on the subscriber id setting in your ConvertKit admin area.

Log into your ConvertKit account. Click on the dropdown arrow on the upper right corner of your account screen and select "Settings":

Select the "Advanced" section, check the box beside “Add subscriber_id parameter in email links.” After that, click on the "Save Settings" button.
