Types of display triggers

Detect your visitors' behavior and use smart triggers to always display the right widget to the right person at the right time.

To set up a trigger for your widget follow these steps:

On the widgets page, click on the pencil to edit widget:

In the "Triggers" section, select the trigger you want to use:

Triggers explained:

Landing - Used to display widgets immediately as visitors lands.
Scroll - Used to display widgets after visitor scrolled to a specified percent.
Time - Used to display widgets after visitor spent a specified amount of time.
Exit - Used to display widget when a user’s intent to leave your site is detected. On desktop it works by tracking the mouse cursor movements. On mobile - the widget will trigger in these 2 cases: 1. The visitor presses the back button or slides back; 2. The visitor's tab loses focus.
Inactivity - Used to display widgets right after a visitor is inactive for a specified amount of time.
Click - Used to display widgets right after a visitor clicks an element.
Hover - Used to display widgets right after visitor puts his cursor over an element.
Adding to cart (Shopify & Wix only) - Used to display widgets right after visitor adds an item to cart.
Proceeding to checkout (Shopify & Wix only) - Used to display widgets when visitors are proceeding to checkout, i.e. the widget will be shown when someone click the checkout button.
