Creating an exit intent popup can not only help you capture the email addresses of your site visitors but can help increase conversions by incentivizing people who are attempting to leave your site with an offer that will not only keep them on your website but encourage them to finish a purchase.
The first thing you need to decide is whether you want to offer a discount as an incentive for people signing up, exclusive content, sweepstakes, or just a general ask.
Follow these steps to create create a cart abandonment widget:
On the widgets page click on the "Create a widget" button (recommend to select one of cart abandonment templates):

Select trigger "Exit intent":

Enter the name of the widget and click on the "Create" button:

Go to the "Display options" tab:

In the "Target" section select "Custom target" and click "Create new target":

In the tab that opens, enter the name of the target and click on the "Create" button:

Click on the button "Add a filter" and select "Selector":

Find the element you need to target. As an example, I'll use our demo store website page and target the "Cart count" element:

Add the element in the selector and choice in dropdown menu condition "is higher than" — 0:

Save the target:

Go back to the widget tab and click "Reload targets":

In the drop-down select your newly created target:

Note: If you want to show your widget on a cart page and your URL looks like that https://www.example.com/cart/, you need to only use /cart in the "show" input.
That's it. Don't forget to save your changes!
