Add Personizely to WordPress / WooCommerce
For most Wordpress users, we have a plugin. However, if you don't want to use the plugin, you can manually insert the Personizely code.
To install the Wordpress / WooCommerce plugin, please follow these steps:
- Choose Plugins > Add new from the menu on the left of the admin page of Wordpress:
- Search for "Personizely" in the plugin directory and click install now:
- Click on "Activate":
- Once you have installed and activated the app, navigate to the application settings:
- Click on "Connect Your Personizely Account":
- Select your Wordpress / WooCommerce website and click "Connect":
If you don't want to use the plugin, you can manually insert the Personizely code:
- From your Personizely Dashboard, navigate to Settings > Website, locate Manual integration and click it:
- On the resulting screen, copy the tracking code:
- From the WordPress admin, click "Appearance" —> "Editor":
- On the right-hand side, under the "Templates" heading, find and click on "header.php":
- Paste the Personizely tracking code between <head> and </head> and click "Update File":
Congratulations, you're done!
