# How to add Personizely via GTM?

Personizely works seamlessly with Google Tag Manager, but we highly recommend placing it in the head tag of your pages to ensure an even better performance for your personalisation campaigns.

1. Go to Google Tag Manager, and add a new Tag. In the **Configuration** section, select **Custom HTML.**

2. Next, in the **Personizely ** dashboard  , go to **Settings > Website** to copy the Personizely script.

3. In GTM, paste the copied script in the **Custom HTML** content box.

4. Set the trigger to **All Pages** to ensure the script loads across your site.

5. Click **Save** to confirm these settings.

6. Go to the **Live version** in GTM and publish the latest version to activate the tag on your website.

That's it! Your Personizely GTM tag is now live on your website!
